The Embassy of the Republic of Chile in Vietnam has donated books to the National Library of Vietnam

On June 27, 2012, the National Library of Vietnam (NLV) has held a ceremony to receive books from the Embassy of the Republic of Chile.

In this ceremony, the Ambassador of Chile Embassy has directly donated more than 40 books and CD-ROMs to the visually impaired people, under the themes of Chile history, culture, and people. This will be a precious resource for Vietnamese readers to get to know about Chile’s beautiful country and people and to be added in the Spanish resource of the NLV.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Fernando Urrutia – the Ambassador of Chile Embassy in Vietnam expressed the hope that these granted books will introduce to Vietnamese readers about Chile history, culture, art, as well as reinforce the understanding and cooperation between people of two countries: Vietnam and Chile.
