RMIT International University donated books to National Library of Viet Nam

In the morning of May 10, 2016 at the National Library of Viet Nam (NLV), Mrs. Clare O’Dwyer - RMIT University Vietnam Senior Library Manager – has donated 100 titles of foreign books to NLV in order to support the Book Festival 2016.

This is the second donation from RMIT Viet Nam during last 2 years. February 2015, RMIT donated 420 English titles to NLV, including 350 titles are textbooks, 70 titles are reference materials about career development.  These 100 books including literary works of writers from Australia and in the world will be the valuable materials to support study and research of the library users.

Speaking at the receiving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung – Deputy Director of NLV expresses the appreciation and support frequently from RMIT Viet Nam to NLV’s activities in the recent years, he also expresses the desire to tighten cooperative relations between two institutions through the mutual projects on staff training, human resource exchange, increasing librarian’s professional skills, organizing events together… Mrs. Clare O’Dwyer confirms RMIT’s support to NLV and looks forwards to develop the strong partnership between RMIT and NLV, she commits that RMIT Viet Nam is available to cooperate with NLV for the reading cultural development programs in Viet Nam.
