On 27th September 2012, H.E. Mr. Ranjit Rea – Ambassador of India to Viet Nam has directly donated National Library of Viet Nam (NLV) about 200 books which was collected by the Ambassador in U.S., Europe and South Africa etc., covering many subject areas introduced culture, homeland, people of India and other countries around the world, in different languages.

This is not only the first time the Ambassador donating books, pictures and materials to the National Library of Viet Nam.
The Ambassador introduces donated books
In recent years, the National Library of Viet Nam and the Indian Embassy in Viet Nam have always maintained good relationship, repeatedly co-operated organized cultural events, and enhanced mutual understanding. Particularly, Indian Embassy in Viet Nam has supported and gave librarians of NLV and other Vietnamese libraries many scholarships to study and doing researches in India.
