With the aim to celebrate 110th Birthday of General Secretary Le Duan (April 7, 1907 - July 7, 2017), the National Library of Viet Nam presented a documentary exhibition entitled “General Secretary Le Duan - A great intellectual, A big personality”.
Nearly 500 titles, newspapers and magazines have been displayed in four categories: Quang Tri Heroes - Home of General Secretary Le Duan; General Secretary Le Duan - A great intellectual, a great personality; General Secretary Le Duan - excellent theorist, a great creative thinking of the Vietnamese revolution; General Secretary Le Duan - Typical works. The objects represented mainly in the documents are places, people in Quang Tri has become legendary with the change and development of the local in recent years. In addition, the true images of life, the revolutionary career, the role of comrade Le Duan in the anti-American resistance war and the collection of writings and talks of the General Secretary in the fields of politics, military, culture, society, economics ... are introduced clearly in the exhibition space. Especially, through the support of the Magic Box display, viewers have the opportunity to access the detailed content of the document by digital technology with images and films reflecting important milestones in the arduous revolutionary journey of the soldiers in the struggle for independence, construction and protection of the country.
The exhibition opened until 15th April, 2017 at the National Library of Viet Nam, 31 Trang Thi, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi.
