Một bạn đọc lần đầu đến phòng Báo - Tạp chí, ông phân vần về cách tìm đọc báo-tạp chí, có được phép photo và phải làm thế nào nếu vẫn chưa đọc xong số báo chí đã mượn trong một ngày. Thủ thư đã hướng dẫn ông về cách tìm đọc tự chọn báo mới, mua phiếu yêu cầu, điền thông tin để mượn báo cũ, báo được phép photo và có thể gửi lại khi chưa đọc xong.

 

R - Good morning, I am wondering that how could I find the recent newspapers and magazines

L -  Good morning, Sir. Welcome you to Periodicals Division! You can select the most recent issues in the periodical boxes surrounding this room. Firstly, you should search the list of the titles to locate the journal’s boxes. To read the older journals, you search the index of the journal on the computer, then buy the request papers and fill in the information. Finally, put them into the request box and wait for 15 minutes before your journals are given to you.

R- Yes, thank you. May the magazines or newspapers be copied?

L- Yes, of course. You can make copies of all items except the treasures or rare items which only can be scanned.

R- Oh, I understand. If I can not finish reading within a day, Can I have my magazines kept on the shelves?

L- Don’t be worry sir; we will keep your items on the shelves in three days if you ask to continue reading.

R- That’s fine! Thank you very much

L- You are welcome!
