Conference CDNL-AO22 2014 held on 26-27 February 2014 at the National Library of Australia, Canberra, Australia. This is the third time that the National Library of Australia has hosted the event since the 1st Conference CDNL-AO in 1979. It was attended by officials from 18 national libraries of countries in Asia - Oceania including Australia, Brunei, Cook Islands, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu and Viet Nam. Conference CDNL-AO22 in 2014 with the theme "National Libraries in the Digital domain" focused on issues concerning the deposit of electronic publications, copyrights, collection and preservation of digital documents, digital services, improving the effectiveness of services for readers, the development of reading area. At the Conference, the directors of the National Libraries presented the activities of their representative institution over the past year since the Conference 2013, achievements and existing problems. Participants also discussed trends IFLA Trend report, the joint programs among member countries in the field of digitization, preservation and promotion of document heritage values etc.

On the sidelines of the Conference, participants visited the National and Gallery of Australia, the National Museum, the building of the Australian Parliament. In particular, delegates CDNL-AO22 had the honor to visit the Governor House and meet Her Excellency Quentin Bryce - Governor General of Australia.

Overall, CDNL-AO22 Conference was successful, addressed all content provided, obtained consensus agreement of all member countries. Conference CDNL-AO23 2015 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand by the National Library of Thailand.
