To celebrate the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the 86th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (3/2/1930 – 3/2/2016), in the morning of January 15, 2016, National Library of Viet Nam (NLV) – Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) organized the Book, documentary exhibition: “Communist Party of Viet Nam – From Congress to Congress”.
Attending the Opening Ceremony, there were Mr. Huynh Vinh Ai – Member of Party Center Committee, Deputy Minister of the MCST; Mr. Le Nhu Tien - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture, Education, Youth, and Children; Mr. Vu Cong Hoi – Director of Department of Culture, Arts, and Department - Central Committee for Propaganda and Education; Mr. Mr. Nguyen Huu Gioi - President of Labor Union, MCST; Mrs. Vu Duong Thuy Nga - Director of Library Department, MCST; Ms. Kieu Thuy Nga, Director of NLV, together with representatives from institutions of Central and Hanoi, libraries, news agencies, public and readers.
The exhibition displays more than 800 books, newspapers, documentary photos and films, digital documents… has reappeared lively the 86-year journey history of establishment and development of the Communist Party of Viet Nam; the role of President Ho Chi Minh in founding and training the Party; the Party’s guidelines and policies through 11 Congresses; the milestones and glorious achievements of the country in which special emphasis the Nation Revolution initiated and led by the Party, which turns 30 years with 6 tenure of the Congress. In addition, the exhibition also introduces some memoirs and documents about life, career of the Party’s Leaders through periods, and many articles, talks that were gathered and published as books.
The exhibition is displayed following 4 topics: The establishment of the Communist Party of Viet Nam; Communist Party of Viet Nam with national liberation and reunification; Communist Party of Viet Nam with the innovation and international integration; Communist Party of Viet Nam – From Congress to Congress.
Through the exhibition, readers and the public have an opportunity to understand deeply about the establishment and strong development of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, the great historical achievements and experience learning from 30 years of renovation and development of the country, they are valuable skills and resources to encourage the entire Party and people move forward to achieve new victories, as well as to arouse the national pride for Vietnamese generations, especially the young generation.
The exhibition will be opened from January 15, 2016 until February 25, 2016 at the National Library of Viet Nam, 31 Trang Thi, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi.
