Indochina Collection: is a rare collection of the National Library of Vietnam comprised of 67,000 books copies published from the 17th century to 1954 contains historical, cultural, geographical value of Indochina. In order to preserve valuable old materials in French, avoid damage by time passing, researches and readers searching for such materials easily, the National Library of Vietnam cooperate with French Embassy in Vietnam and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in France to implement project on “Digitization of old French collection in Vietnam” (VALEASE). At present, the National Library of Vietnam has digitized over 95,000 pages (equal to 800 copies), compiled as electronic books and upload on internet to serve readers.
